Prior to joining AW, David worked in the consumer packaged goods, private equity and start-up sectors. His corporate experience at companies such as Kraft Foods, PepsiCo (Quaker) and Ralston Purina was primarily focused overseeing sales teams and developing annual sales plans, budgets and new, business development opportunities. David’s experience in the private equity and start-up sectors included acquiring and turning around distressed businesses, bankruptcy recoveries, and leading successful start-ups of disruptive products in mature spaces.
David draws on his corporate and private equity background to assist AW clients in the sale of assets involved in bankruptcy and turn-around situations as well as in more complex sales involving both a business and real estate.
In addition to the private sector, David has had significant business experience working with the US Government contracting community, specifically the US Army and Special Forces in both domestic and overseas operations.
David holds a B.S. in Marketing from Fairfield University. He is married and has a daughter. He enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and cooking. He also dedicates personal time to mentoring retired soldiers transitioning from military service.
